  1. As an associate member you are helping educate people about better care of parrots both domestic and wild.
  2. As an associate member you are helping care for our ever growing "crew" of mostly adopted and/or rescued parrots with better (and larger) cages and facilities, food, medical expenses, etc..
  3. As an associate member you save 10% off scheduled parrot behavior improvement training classes - learn tips on how the pirates can let thousands of people safely pet and hold their birds.
  4. As an associate member you save 10% off any training books, videos or other training related material available through ESENCE at said classes.
  5. You become eligible to join our parrot training email list, trainright@onelist.com, where you will get real answers to your behavior training questions by the actual people who train our parrots for our shows. This list is available ONLY to associate members in good standing.

You may become an official associate member of ESENCE in any one of these four ways: 

1) Pay $25 yearly membership dues (by check or money order - sorry, no credit cards for this) and register by mail, OR

2) Register and attend two of our parrot training classes, at least once per year, (attending first class will grant temporary subscription to Trainright email list until second class is available), OR

3) Be a volunteer for at least one full day (or full event if shorter than a day) at one of our public events, at least once per year, OR

4) Purchase and have delivered to ESENCE, $25 worth of any of the following: parrot food, mixed nuts, stainless steel feeding bowls, concrete perches, bird toys, cage building materials, and others.   Contact ESENCE for specifications of qualifying materials, size, type or brand prior to making any purchase.

 

Membership dues and class fees are used exclusively for the benefit of the parrots in our care and/or for improving the public education programs we offer.
